Purchased in 1970 by the Lake Tahoe Recreational Land Company and located between Washoe County Foothills and Virginia City, The Highlands were mostly developed into 1-, 10- and 40- acre parcels. The Highlands also offers custom homes and subdivisions among the pinion pine and juniper trees. Surrounded by unique scenery, The Highlands offers wide open spaces, a great location, and wild horses roaming through the hills.
